The Committee for the Business Theory and Policy (founded in 1971) , is a joint committee of economists and business economists. The relevant topics, especially for the future, include:
- Flexibility and robustness of supply chains.
- Resilience of companies and economies.
- Sustainable Development Goals, e.g. by addressing the relationship between ageing societies, increasing technological change, the role of corporate human resources and education policies, migration and diversity.
- Information economics aspects, as information and transparency are central topics for business administration, economics and politics and are increasingly important with regard to sustainable development in the broadest sense.
